SEBI restores normal cut-off timings for mutual funds effective from November 9 2020
Market regulator The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has restored Mutual fund cut off timings to 3 PM and 1.30 PM resepectively for all kind of transactions such as Subscription, redemption, switch etc with effective from November 9. Earliar SEBI has shorted cutoff timing due to Covid 19 and relazed phase wise after change of timing from RBI.
Now all the cut off timing set to old times for Liquid and Overnight 1.30 PM and rest of the schemes its 3 PM. SEBI has informed to industry players such as Asset management companies(AMC) to publish the same to investors as well as stakeholders.
Investors are requested to note that, it has been decided by SEBI to restore normal cut off timings for applicability of NAV for both subscription and redemption for all Mutual Fund schemes in accordance with various circulars issued by SEBI in this regard.
Accordingly, the cut-off timings with effect from November 09, 2020, will be as under:
In case of subscription
– For Liquid Fund and Overnight Fund – 01:30 p.m.
– For all schemes (except Liquid Fund and vernight Fund) – 03:00 p.m.
In case of Redemption
– For all schemes – 03:00 p.m.
